The Northern BC Tourism Resiliency Program is focused on providing local businesses with practical and practicable strategies and guidance for enduring the daily challenges and the significant events that affect the tourism industry. This program is incredibly flexible in what support it can provide to the business or organization. Since the spring of 2020, over 300 stakeholders have been assisted through the program, whether it be through just a simple discovery call to receive referrals to tailored support programs or through expert support with marketing, communications, photography, digital support, business modelling, and visitor insights research, to name a few. Here are just a few numbers about the program:
Since 2020, nearly $300,000 of expert support has been provided directly to stakeholders for customized solutions to the challenges that face them. The supports provided are directly customized to the individual needs of the stakeholder.
Funding has been secured, thanks to the Northern Healthy Communities Fund administered by Northern Development Initiative Trust, to continue this important support work. Funding is being allocated quickly and the winter season is a great time to tackle those elements of your operation that require a little more strategic thought.
