Northern BC Tourism has invested in a research program through the BC Regional Tourism Secretariat. The data is obtained from the Environics Analytics Visitor View Canada Program and allows us to see the volume of visitors to Northern BC, as well as the types of visitors who are coming to our region.

A quick note on the Quarterly Visitor Highlights report. Each of the periods in the report (monthly, quarterly, yearly) count visitors as "unique", which means each visitor is only counted once per period (ex. if John visits Northwest BC in January, and again in July, he will be counted as a unique visitor in Q1 and Q3, but will only be counted once for the year).
